This has been a great start to the school year!
Almost all students have a passing grade and almost all work turned in!
We took our first standards assessment and we had class averages over 80%!
I have told the students that we MUST NOT accept MISSING work as a reason for failure.
In my years as an educator this is really the main reason that students struggle -- not staying organized and simply NOT TURNING in complete assignments.
We must keep working together to make sure that your students take on their responsibility and finish ALL work and assignments on time.
I appreciate your daily help at home and consistency in high expectations for your child.
