Students will be taking a "final" standards based assessment. It will cover these topics from the last 5 weeks or so:

Beaches

Atmosphere/ Hydrosphere/ Geosphere/ Biosphere
Weather
Water Cycle
**** "KNOW BOOKS" DUE THURSDAY***
Students have been working on a journal of information from the last 3 weeks - called a "know" book. This is a major grade. Please have your child show this to you and make sure that it is NEAT, COMPLETE, COLORED(?) and in order.
***INVENTION CONVENTION project***
Students will be starting a project where they design an original invention. This will be explained more later in the week. Please have them start thinking of ideas/ researching ideas:
The THEMES are CONSERVATION, ENERGY, & RECYCLING.
